Apple isn’t always first to the game with gadgets, but they are often one of the better options. I am sincerely hoping this is the case with their latest entry into the smart speaker arena. Apples latest gadget is the HomePod ($349) which is landing in the US, UK, and Australia in December of this year.
The speaker does similar tricks as the Alexa and Google Home speakers but should blow them all away when it comes to sound quality. At least that is the pitch. You simply talk to the speaker like you would with Siri on your iOS devices. The audio system is spatially aware and has six microphones. Can’t wait to hear and see it in action.
