Tesla Model Y

Last night Tesla unveiled their latest creation – the Tesla Model Y. In what looks like an offspring of the Model 3 and X, the Y is aimed at the mid-sized crossover SUV market. The interior is similar to the Model 3 with clean and elegant lines and few distractions outside of the single 15-inch screen.

There is seating for up to seven people, 66 cubic feet of cargo space, and range options from 230 to 300 miles depending on the specific model. The 0-60 times also vary by model from 3.5 to 5.9 seconds. Expect to see the first models in the fall of 2020 (Long Range RWD, Performance, and Long Range AWD) with the affordable Standard Range model hitting in 2021.
