Dear Honda,
Please make the Honda Project 2&4 concept car a reality.
Sincerely,
Russ
OK… that was just in case someone from Honda was reading. Now, on to the good bits of this awesome bare bones racer, the Honda Project 2&4. The car was shown off recently at the Frankfurt car show and was designed by Martin Petersson. The 2&4 came about because of an internal competition amongst 80 of Honda’s best designers. This little guy won. Some of the rules – the vehicle had to have four wheels and use the RC213V MotoGP engine (212bhp at 14,000rpm). Petersson’s day job is that of a motorbike designer. He applied his knowledge in that space to design the bike/car from the inside-out.
Before you poo-poo the small amount of horsepower, remember power-to-weight ratios are what matter. And the Honda 2&4 has a power-to-weight ratio similar to the Bugatti Veyron. Yikes! More pictures after the break.
