- Boosted all-electric range of 53 miles (improved from the previous 38 mile range)
- 3-inches longer for more backseat passenger legroom
- Lighter and newer battery technology saves 20 pounds
- Longer charge time (4.5 hours at 220-volts or 13 hours on 110-volts for full charge)
- New 1.5- liter aluminum engine (saves 100 pounds)
- New instrument panel and 8-inch infotainment system with 8-inch touchscreen
- Support for Apple CarPlay
- New old-school manual HVAC controls (people didn’t like the touchscreen version)
- Three years of GM OnStar and an optional 4G hotspot
- OnStar RemoteLink app lets users open car doors, check charge, and start the car remotely
- Optional driverless car technology
